Giving Effective Feedback

Giving effective feedback is one of the most important communication skills in the workplace, yet it’s also one of the most frequently avoided.

When feedback is delivered well, it helps people understand what’s working, where they can improve and how they can continue to grow. It improves performance and creates a culture where people feel supported rather than judged. When it’s delivered poorly – or not delivered at all – misunderstandings grow, frustrations build and performance issues often remain unresolved.

Whether you’re managing a team, leading a project or working alongside colleagues, your ability to give clear, constructive feedback has a direct impact on the quality of your relationships and results.

This highly practical masterclass will help you approach feedback conversations with greater confidence and clarity, giving you the tools to communicate in a way that people can genuinely hear and act upon.

    £445 per person.

Course outline:

This actor-led masterclass moves beyond feedback models and theory, focusing instead on the real conversations that take place every day in the workplace.

Working alongside professional actors, participants will explore the challenges that often make feedback difficult, from fear of conflict and emotional reactions to unclear messages and defensive responses. Through live scenarios, participants will observe and reshape conversations in real time, seeing first-hand how small changes in language and delivery can dramatically affect the outcome.

Together we will explore how to:

• Deliver feedback with clarity, confidence and care

• Balance honesty with empathy

• Handle defensive or emotional reactions constructively

• Build trust through everyday feedback conversations

• Create greater accountability without damaging relationships

By rehearsing realistic workplace situations in a safe environment, participants develop practical communication skills they can apply immediately, helping feedback become a tool for growth rather than something to avoid.
